Okay, I’m resuming my low-carb diet. Years ago, I used to eat like way, and it was tedious. I followed the protein power regimen to great success. I’ve signed up for your site and am eager to get started. My concern is this: I underwent gallbladder surgery in 2007, and I’ve been afraid since then that I don’t need to follow this diet.
What are the odds that someone who doesn’t have a gallbladder would be able to effectively start and complete this diet? Is it more difficult to lose weight on a low-carbohydrate diet? I don’t have a gallbladder, therefore do I need to perform a cure? What should be done? Thank you very much.

Do it the same way everyone else does it. Without a gallbladder, most individuals are OK. However, stomach issues may take longer to adapt to; you may suffer stomach discomfort or diarrhea at first. If this is the case, you should consume more, but in smaller quantities, particularly when it comes to fats. It had to be a one-time thing.

On a low-carb diet, I’m losing too much weight. So, what should I do now?

I tried LCHF a few years ago but had to quit since I was dangerously underweight (I’m 193 cm tall and weigh just 63 kg). I didn’t know what else to do, so I began eating more carbohydrates, but it didn’t help, and I reverted to my previous unhealthy, high-carb diet. Since then, I’ve been steadily gaining weight.
I weighed 92kg in April and decided it was time to drop weight, but this time I want to stick to the LCHF diet as long as possible, since it has much more advantages for me than weight reduction.
However, it seems to be occurring once again. Every week, I drop 1 to 2 kg. I began the LCHF diet in early May and have dropped 14 kg since then (very quickly at first).
I found that on the LCHF diet, my hunger is very low. In reality, most days I drink two cups of coffee with cream in the morning (some days I have two eggs) and don’t eat until my major meal, which is typically meat, in the evening. I’m coping with it and loving it, but I’m only eating a third of what I used to consume (I used to eat about four meals a day and snacks).
I tried intermittent fasting because I didn’t want to give up breakfast and lunch, but I quickly discovered I didn’t need those meals at all. I used to believe that I only ate when I was hungry. I’m not hungry, by the way. I don’t become hungry till later in the evening.
What should I do if I don’t want to become underweight?

If eating more carbohydrates to maintain your weight is causing you to yo-yo, I recommend deliberately adding an additional meal or two to your day.
I realize it’s inconvenient and time-consuming, but at the very least, it may be enjoyable, and I’m sure there are others who would sympathize with your situation.

I want to eat low-carb all of the time!
I’ve been on the LCHF diet for almost three years, however I’ve lately gained weight. I’m a lady in her sixties, and I’m 62 years old. I had not yet satisfied my hunger. I figured I’d go ahead and buy some. I realized I shouldn’t be hungry when I discovered your webpage (thank you!). My stomach, on the other hand, empty itself around 30-45 minutes after I eat! I began eating more fat after viewing the video and assumed that was the issue, but now that I’ve listened to it again, I realize that I shouldn’t eat too much fat since there is such a thing as too many calories? Now I’m wondering whether I should avoid using cream in my coffee since I drink many cups in the morning? I’m completely perplexed!
I’m simply not sure how much of what (carbs/fat/protein) I should consume to be full. I’ve dropped the majority of my weight by doing IF 16:8 five days a week….. I’m still hungry, however…
Is it necessary for me to visit a doctor about this? Is it possible that anything is wrong with me? Should I eat whenever I’m hungry, even if I’ve already eaten for an hour? Everyone says they never get hungry, so I suppose it’s just me? If I just had to eat once a day when I wasn’t hungry, I’d be content!

To prevent hunger, you don’t have to eat every hour. If this is the case, you are most likely undereating and should consider increasing the fat content of your meals.
On the other hand, don’t overindulge in snacks and don’t overdo the cream in your coffee every now and again. Fasting between meals is a good idea. Great. There will be no refreshments available. A smidgeon of milk in the coffee, but no more.
Eat whenever you’re hungry and until you’re satisfied. Also, eat so much that you aren’t hungry straight away. Then do something else – don’t eat – until you’re hungry again, which will be a long time later.
