We’re sorry, but something went wrong on Instagram Reels

In January of 2016, Instagram released a new feature called ‘Reels’ which allows users to see all the photos and videos from a day in a single stream. This is a great idea, because it gives you time to catch up on all the great photos from your day, but unfortunately, it has proven to be buggy, and many users have complained about the service not working right.

The first time I was introduced to medium length videos was in 2015, when one of my good friends posted one of her favourite clips on Instagram. I was immediately taken by the simplicity of the format and the ease with which I could take a few minutes to enjoy a short video on a screen that was significantly smaller than the real thing (i.e. television). I spent the next few weeks watching every clip I could find and wondering how I could turn these clips into a series of videos worthy of being posted on my own Instagram profile.

On September 4, 2016, the Instagram app began to delete uploads from accounts with over 100,000 followers, a move that came two weeks after Facebook began to do the same. The Instagram rule was put in place to crack down on fake accounts and spammy content, but to many users it seemed like a way to cut down on the reach of popular accounts.

People these days want things that are short and sweet. If you talk about what’s on your mind for an hour or two, you’ll see that the audience seats are vacant. People like to watch videos that are just a few seconds or minutes long. They usually go on to the next one after that since there are too many excellent options to pass up.

That is why TikTok is so popular, and other social media platforms such as Facebook, Snapchat, and YouTube all provide comparable platform features. Instagram accomplished the same thing when it developed and released Instagram Reels, a social app feature for entertaining short clips and movies.

On Instagram, the TikTok-cloned social media app allows you to make fun yet brief films lasting just 15 seconds. To make your video more appealing, you may add music, sound effects, and other user-generated material.

But, as you log in and browse through the Instagram Reels section of your Instagram mobile app, you may encounter an error message saying, “We’re sorry, something went wrong. Please try again.” With only a short period of time to spare, you have to be entertained with short video clips on Instagram. Seeing an issue that blocks and hinders you from watching the video reels might make you feel annoyed and disappointed.” alt=”Fix-Were-sorry-but-something-went-wrong-Error-on-Instagram-Reels” width=”600″ height=”227″ data-ez=”” data-ezsrc=”https://www.windowsdispatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Fix-Were-sorry-but-something-went-wrong-Error-on-Instagram-Reels.jpeg” />

The first solution is to relaunch the Instagram app.

Try restarting your phone or tablet if relaunching the Instagram app does not work. Exit any background applications that are running. Turn off your cell phone. Restart the Instagram app after turning it back on. Re-examine the Reels tab.

Check your Wi-Fi Internet Network Connection as a third option.

It may be a problem with your WiFi Internet connection. Try to do a speed test to check your network speed. You may also improve your Internet connection by elevating your router and eliminating anything that blocks it from your device. You can put your device near the router for an even stronger WiFi connection.

Try turning off and on your gadgets. Before reconnecting your router and modem to the Internet, turn them off and disconnect them for at least 1 minute.
