This week, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold3, and the Galaxy Z Flip3. Both are foldable phones, that, when unfolded, act like a standard phone. Both are also water-resistant, making them ideal for use in wet conditions.
Samsung’s been having trouble keeping up with the competition, even during CES, where it’s traditionally shown off some of its most interesting and forward-thinking products. That’s why we’re so excited to see the company unveil two new phones at CES, the Galaxy Z Fold and the Galaxy Z Flip. As you may have already seen, the Z Fold has an 8-inch screen that folds in half, making it an intriguing competitor to the likes of the iPhone X and the Huawei Mate X. The Z Fold also has a nearly 7-inch display that folds in half, but its screen is unfolded into a tablet-like shape. The folding, of course, allows for some pretty interesting creative creativity.

Samsung officially unveiled its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold3 by Samsung and Galaxy Z Flip3, during this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event, after months of rumors and leaks.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3
The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 boasts a number of upgrades over its predecessors, including IPX8 water resistance, an Armor Resistance body, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It’s also more compact and lighter than the Z Fold2.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 also has a new flexible PET protective coating and enhanced display panel layers, resulting in a Main Screen that is 80 percent more durable than prior versions.
A new 4MP under-screen selfie camera is hidden away under the device’s 7.6-inch Infinity Flex Display, among other capabilities promised by the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
The display also has Eco display technology, which results in a 20% brighter screen while using 20% less energy. Both the Main and Cover Screens of the Z Fold3 now have a very smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 also supports the S-Pen, which can be used to write down notes or utilize other multitasking capabilities on the device’s Main Screen.
S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro are the two kinds of S Pen available with the Z Fold3. To protect the Z Fold3’s Main Screen when using the S Pen, both feature a specially designed retractable Pro tip with force restriction technology.
The Flex mode, Multi-Active Window, App Pair, and Taskbar are just a few of the multitasking capabilities available on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
A 12MP Ultra Wide Camera, a 12MP Wide0angle Camera, and a 12MP Telephoto Camera are included on the back of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3. Dual OIS, 0.5x out, and 2x in optical zoom are also included in the camera.
On the device’s front cover is a 10MP selfie camera, as well as the previously stated 4MP under-display selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 12GB of RAM, and either 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 4,000mAh dual battery with 25W quick charging is also included.

The Super AMOLED Cover Screen is another significant change between the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 and the previous version. It is now four times the size of the original Z Flip, measuring 1.9 inches in length.
You can now utilize the Cover Screen to monitor your alerts, keep track of your daily routine, check the weather, use widgets, and access Samsung Pay.
A 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate is also included in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3. The new Dolby Atmos Stereo Speakers provide an immersive viewing experience right in the palm of your hand.
A dual-camera system on the rear of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 comprises a 12MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 12MP Wide-angle Camera. A 10MP selfie camera may be found on the front.
With the Flex Mode Panel, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 has comparable multitasking capabilities as its bigger sibling. When watching movies with the Z Flip3 partly folded, this function gives you additional choices.
