By Sara Buchan
Grande Prairie

A big, coordinated rescue effort last night at Saskatoon Mountain involving fire services from the County and Beaverlodge, EMS, STARS, and the RCMP to help a driver who'd gone off the edge of the lookout.

Emergency responders got the call around 8:30 and say the car had plunged about 200-feet into some dense brush.

Rescuers used a quad to get to the crash victim, who was found unconscious.

The driver was transported to the STARS helicopter and on to hospital.
