Dan Gorman did not have to move far for his new job.

In fact, it was only a few steps down the hallway for Gorman, who leaves his Sponsorship Manager position with Evergreen Park to become the organization's new General Manager.

With assets like the TEC Centre and the race track, Gorman says he is excited about the potential for future growth at Evergreen.

"I'm really excited about working closer with groups like Stompede and Bud Country Fever and some of the other major events out there, and help them grow as well.  But also we are looking at a number of other events that we have never looked at before or certainly have not looked at them in a while.  So we expect these next couple of years to be a great time."

Gorman could not give details of the new events they were looking at because they are in the midst of negotiations with those groups.
