A new report recently rolled out that on the release date of the MacBook Pro 2016, it expected to have a Touch IDfingerprint sensor which will be embedded close to the laptop’s power button, an OLED touch bar or programmable function keys will also be embedded in the features. The launch is likely to start as soon as that mass production commence.
Some solid indicators are reported by The Next Web which is of the view that large-scale production of the new MacBook Pros being underway as, on the other hand, confirmation regarding MacOS Sierra powering recently came from Apple. And right after the next iPhone, the possible unveiling should happen in September or October un-supposedly.
It is expected to be unboxed in the following weeks align with the earlier prediction of KGI Securities analyst Ming-chi Kuo who said that Apple would refresh the MacBook Pro before the end of 2016.
OLED touch bard and Touch ID unlocking will, in fact, have to become part of the upcoming MBP 2016 release. Similarly, in his words, “A source who has provided reliable information in the past has informed us that the new MacBook Pro models will feature a Touch ID power button as well as the previously-reported OLED touch-sensitive function keys,”9to5Macreported.
Though any specific date has not been provided but the same report indicated that Apple has set the devices to hit the market by fall of 2016.
The previous report has already mentioned the Touch ID unlocking for the new MacBook Pro, but this is going to be the first time for the feature embedded in the MacBook Pro particularly at the power button.
Regarding this 9to5Mac said,”Incorporating it into the power button would clearly make sense, allowing the same one-touch process to power-on and authenticate as is possible with the Home button on current iPhones.”
The same tech site leaked that Apple’s plans codes glimpses appear in the new MacOS which indicated its plan to use Touch ID with high-end laptop line. The feature was first seen in the iPhone 5S and now has become standard on most upcoming models of iOS devices.
But the likelihood of OLED bar coming to the MacBook Pro 2016 is questioned by The Next Web which reportedly mentioned that their insiders are less convinced dubious that the OLED bar is coming.
Nevertheless, most Apple watchers agreed that on the release date MacBook Pro 2016 is most likely to run on Intel’s 7th-gen Kaby Lake platform, and will be slimmer and lighter than ever, most likely in 13-inch or 15-inch as shown from factors. So, it will actually be available not later than November 2016.
