It has been close to a year since Community Futures and Grande Prairie Regional Tourism began working on a new feature for the GPRT website, which allows visitors to pre-book accommodations and activities packages for their stay in the region. 

Leah Holler with Community Futures says they are very excited with how the project has developed. 

"It is something where we can really tie together some smaller operators and some smaller events with some of the larger stuff.  And so the progress being made is we have put new skins on it, made it more lively, so we are quite pleased with the product."

Holler adds the reaction to the feature has been good, adding that businesses and activities are seeing how they can partner with other organizations in extending the stay of a visitor to the area.
