A ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon will officially open the new M-D of Greenview offices in Valleyview.
After the ceremony, which goes at 1 o'clock, staff will be on hand to provide tours and answer questions about the facility.
M-D of Greenview Legislative Services Director Lucien Cloutier says staff have been working out of the new building since last November.
"The building had a project cost of around $6-million. And it took between a year and a half to two years to complete construction."
Among dignitaries slated to be in attendance are provincial municipal affairs minister Doug Griffiths, provincial Infrastructure Minister and GP-Wapiti MLA Wayne Drysdale, Peace River MP Chris Warkentin, and GP-Smoky MLA Everett McDonald.
