Bezanson resident Harold Bulford is looking forward to being sworn in as the newest member of county council.
Bulford won last night's by-election for ward-1 by a wide margin.
Bulford enjoyed getting feedback from county residents about issues they wanted to air with him as a candidate.
"I really enjoyed the feedback-- I wish I could have actually talked to more of them. Probably the biggest [concern] that comes up all the time is roads that seems to be a pretty general one throughout the division, and subdivisions. Acreages are another big one -- there were a lot of comments on that."
A station captain with the Bezanson volunteer fire department, Bulford believes that experience--and working with the non-profit fire department society--will stand him in good stead as a member of council.
