Another 2-3 Weeks Of Good Weather Should See Peace Country Crops In

The County of Grande Prairie's agriculture fieldman thinks 2-3 more weeks of good weather should be more than enough time to wrap up harvest operations across the region.
Sonja Raven says producers are working hard to get the last of this year's crop into the bin.
"We've got some good crops. Maybe some of the seed isn't as, you know the wheat kernels aren't as big we would've had in a wetter year but certainly the plants have been healthy and they're producing well."
Raven says she has been receiving reports of good wheat and canola crops throughout the County.
