A few tense moments earlier this morning at the Grande Prairie airport as local fire department crews responded to a report of a small passenger aircraft with a landing gear problem;
The call came in around 5 o'clock -- crews rolled to the scene, staging near the runway;
The pilot was able to get the landing gear down and the plane landed safely
Fire officials say reponse went exactly as it was designed to do.
