Grande Prairie youth are getting a chance to show their creative side this summer.

G-P Live Theatre will have a series of day camps throughout the summer, with a different theme or production each week.

Tahnia Greene, one of the instructors from the camps, says they're offering a new opportunity to the older kids that sign this year. 

"We do have something else this year, where we have two spots reserved in every camp for anybody between the ages of 13 and 17 if they decide they want to work backstage instead of being on stage they can learn lights, sound and stage managing the show and everything." 

Camps run Monday-Friday, and are for anyone in between the age of 7 and 17.
