NewsCity Recognizes Good Neighbours
We all know one or two good neighbours - the ones that shovel your sidewalk for you or go out of their way to welcome new residents to the community. The city took time during their Municipal government day celebrations to announce the winners of their first ever Good Neighbours competition, after receiving close to 20 submissions. Winners in the good neighbour category included Jennifer Boxshall and Aiden Kelly, while Krista and Joel Meyaard and Allan Tompkins and Trina Irons were picked for the Good Family or Couple award. The good neighbourhood category was shared between the residents of the 63rd avenue and 99A street area, and those living in the Highland Square area. Most Viewed Stories
