Residents concerned about crime in our city are encouraged to attend a community consultation gathering tonight.

It will take place from 4 til 7 at Crime Prevention Corner at City on 99, more commonly known as the former library.

The open space concept meeting will give those in attendance the chance to go to different stations and provide feedback on several topics.

They include substance abuse, theft, bullying and hazing, breakdown of the family unit, sexual exploitation, and cyber crimes.

The goal of the meeting is to find out the top priority crime related issues in our city, and then establish a crime prevention committee to deal with them.
