Less than two weeks remain in the Salvation Army's Christmas appeal, and they are well behind their goal of $300,000.
Over 116 grand, or 35 percent, has been raised so far.
Captain Gord Taylor says meeting that goal is critical to both helping the less fortunate out at this time of year, as well as aiding their operating budget for 2010.
He says donation kettles can be found at a number of locations throughout the city.
He also says the Sally Ann is also well behind in food donations for their christmas hampers. You can drop those off at the food bank.
