About 25 members of the city's fire department helped to raise over nine thousand dollars last month by growing a little facial hair. They participated in "Movember," a Global charity event where men commit to growing a mustache to raise funds for prostate Cancer programs and research. Kieran Moore with the Grande Prairie fire department says this is the first time they have participated in Movember. He says the community really pulled through to help make the campaign a success.
