A Grande Prairie man is in police custody awaiting a Monday court appearance, facing charges connected to the July 5th and 7th hold-ups of 3 convenience stores earlier this month -- one on the south side, the other in Beaverlodge, as well as a 3rd in the Crystal Lake area.

Investigators say 27-year old Saud Ahmed Siddiqui faces four charges including breaking court conditions.

Siddiqui was arrested and charged back in March in relation to an assault and drug investigation.

Police say Siddiqui's been in custody since a July 17th arrest in Hinton -- RCMP there investigating a robbery of a business in that community involving a man and a woman.
