County Thrilled With Turn Out For Open Houses
The County wrapped up their series of open houses last night with a stop at Hinton Trail Hall near Elmworth.
It was the final of three events held this week, which gave residents the chance to meet County council and staff and ask questions.
County CAO Bill Rogan says roads was a popular topic at all three meetings.
"A very wet spring, frost coming out of the ground late, road bans coming off and there is a lot of movement out right now with heavy truck traffic. There were also questions about road conditions, updates on the status of some of the provincial work, lots of questions about paving."
County officials were very excited about the turn out for this year's forums, which they say was higher than similar events held last year.
