The city is shutting down the Coke Centre for the next few weeks in order to conduct maintenance on the facility.
Coke Centre manager Kylee Haining describes some of the work that will be done.
"We are doing a bunch of work in the plant room to do some replacement of insulation, as well as some electrical upgrades. And then in the north arena we are replacing the yellow kick around the bottom of the surface."
The ice plant for both arenas will be shut off over the weekend.
The North Arena will re-open June 16th, with the south arena coming back online June 23rd.
