Alberta Mounties are on the lookout for a Newfoundland man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

29-year old Trevor Norman John Legge was last seen by police in the Whitecourt area.

RCMP believe Legge is armed, and may pose a danger to public safety.

Earlier this week, Whitecourt RCMP got a call about suspicious activity in a rural area -- and located what turned out to be a makeshift camp. Mounties found a stolen travel trailer and utility trailer at the site.

Police say Legge is a suspect in a break-and-enter investigation where several firearms were stolen.

The RCMP urge anyone who may've seen Legge to call their local detachment or Crimestoppers and caution people NOT to approach him.
