RCMP want you to be safe on highways this weekend

With one of the busiest weekends of the summer upon us, local RCMP are reminding residents to keep safety in mind while having fun.  Stats show there tends to be an increase in fatalities and injuries during long weekends.  Corporal Carol McKinley encourages everyone to take their time when heading out on the roads, and arrive alive.  Some tips to consider include packing vehicles so as not to reduce visibility for the driver, and staying off the phone when behind the wheel.
