G-P Athletes mine medals at Summer Games

A couple of Grande Prairie residents picked up medals yesterday at the Alberta Summer Games in Peace River and surrounding communities.  Six of the eight members of the gold medal winning Zone 8 Canoe Polo team are from the Swan City.  Other medalists include Kale Gilfillan, who won silver in the U-17 male 110m hurdles, and a bronze in the U-17 male long jump for Travis Kozie.
