NewsCity Plans Busy Weekend Of Canada Day Celebrations
Grande Prairie's Canada Day celebrations are mapped out and ready to go as the "jewel in the heart of the city" plays host to family-friendly activites and the annual fireworks display. Carla Wells says Muskoseepi Park is throwing it's annual birthday bash for the nation, starting at 8 o'clock tomorrow night. "We are going to have live entertainment from 8pm until midnight, there will be food and bouncy castles for the kids, and then over the reservoir at midnight will be our fireworks show." July 1st will see the Golden Age Centre host a pancake breakfast starting at 9, followed by the Canada Day Parade starting at 1 o'clock from Hillside. The parade wraps at GPRC, and from there you can pick up the free transit bus to Muskoseepi Park for music, activies, and food.
Remember -- there's no parking at the park on July 1st, and parking tomorrow night will be very limited. Most Viewed Stories
