A new feature to the City's website will help you plan your drive to work this summer - an interactive construction map has been added to the site.

You can check out where and when there will be construction in Grande Prairie, with the info being updated daily.

Engineering Services Manager for the City, Kristine Donnelly, says that it's all about getting information out to everyone in G-P.

"We get a lot of phone calls saying who is digging up the sidewalk in front of my house, and how do I get a hold of them.  This way they can go to the map, they can get all of the information, and they can contact the right company that might be digging it up.  It would really help them figure out and get a hold of the appropriate people right away if they could just find out who it is that is doing the digging."

She adds that some projects on the map have expected timelines, so you can see when certain work will be finished.
