The 3rd annual Devon Safety Expo at Safety is all set for Saturday--rain or shine.

GP and Area Safe Communities Executive Director Carla Shkwarok says a lot of children have come through the gates of Safety City

"I think we are close to having about 500 students through the programs now between last fall and this spring so that's really exciting to showcase that kids are coming here, they are being on site, and they are learning safety lessons to help prevent injuries across the Peace Country."

The day also marks the grand opening of the facility.

Events run from 10 until 3 that includes a free barbecue from 12 'til  2.

Kinds can bring their bikes and helmets to roll down the streets of Safety City, and there are 20 "safety stations" you can go though as well.
