The Grande Prairie Council for Lifelong Learning is having a dinner to recognize their learners, volunteers and sponsors.

The Celebration Success Dinner goes tonight at 6 at Teresa Sargent Hall.

The Council's Executive Director Melissa Hunt says they will also be giving out some awards.

"The LOLA Award, which stands for Love of Learning Award, goes to four different recipients within our organization.  We have the Learner of the Year Award, the Volunteer of the Year Award, the Employee of the Year Award and the Community Partner in Literacy and Learning Award."

Recipients of the LOLA Award get a desk clock as a trophy to recognize their acheivement.

This year, they saw over 1500 people pass through their doors to get help with literacy problems.
