A New Councillor for the M-D of Greenview

Leslie Urness is the new Ward three councillor for the M-D of Greenview. Urness received 85 votes during Monday's by-election, 50 more than runner-up Debbie Adolphson. Urness replaces former reeve Tony Yelenik, who resigned earlier this year after spending 23 years as the Greenview rep for the Yalleyview-Sturgeon Lake area. A total of five candidates let their name stand for the by-election.
