The Grande Prairie and Area Association of Realtors reports another solid performance in last month's home sales -- with residential sales volumes at over $72.2 million representing the second-best April on record.
Stats show 261 home sales last month representing a 28-percent jump from April 2011.
The dollar volume increase is a 38-percent increase from the same time last year.
GP Realtors say the average price for a home rose as well -- up 8-percent to nearly $277,000.
The market's active as well: New residential listings have increased -- up 19-percent from April of last year.
