NewsGrande Prairie Family Presented Keys To Habitat For Humanity Built Home
Habitat for Humanity has completed it's latest home build in Grande Prairie. A formal 'key' ceremony was held this morning to present Sophia Fallye and her family with the keys to their new home in the Morgan Meadows neighbourhood. After being approved for the home, Sophia and her family gave 500 hours of "sweat equity" towards the construction of the project. She says it's has been a memorable experience. "It is something I recommend to anybody. There is a lot to learn, a lot to give, and it's good." Sophia's home is half of a duplex.
The other half was built by Habitat volunteers and the family moving into it and was completed last year. Similar StoriesMost Viewed Stories
