The annual Scotiabank AIDS walk for life goes tomorrow at Muskoseepi Park. 

Besides being a significant fundraiser for local programming, HIV North Executive Director Brenda Yamkovy says the event also has an awareness side to it.

"It's about awareness for HIV and AIDS in the community, and making sure that people understand that it is still in existance and we are still doing as much work as we possibly can in preventing and providing awareness and education in the community."

Registration goes at 10 am, with the 2.5 km walk starting at 11. 

A noon-hour barbecue wraps up the day's festivities.
