Alberta Scotties action in Leduc it's good news for both Grande Prairie rinks.

Desiree Owen beat Candace Wanechko 9-3 this morning and Rennee Sonnenberg chalked up an 8-1 win over Glenys Bakker

Owen awaits the the loser of the match between Heather Nedohin and Cheryl Bernard, while Sonnenberg will face Crystal Webster of Calgary.
