Grande Prairie Fire Department members are counting down the days until they can move into the city's third fire hall.
Deputy Fire Chief Janine Blackburn says they expect to be fully operational in the new west end facility by June 1st.
"Our plan is that once we have completed our open house events, that the following week we will be focused on getting everything moved in and getting everything operational as soon as we can."
The grand opening of the fire hall is set for next Friday, May 25th.
Open houses will also be held from 2-6 that afternoon, as well as from 10-3 on the 26th.
