The 3rd Annual H-D Ride for a Cure is coming up on August 25th at the Teepee Creek Stampede Grounds.

Highlights of this year's event include an optional running trail, supper at the barn and a dance and silent auction.

Mack Erno is the President of the Peace Country leg of the Huntington Disease Society - he says this running trail is not for the faint of heart.

"It's up and down hills, through the bush, there's a creek crossing.  It's a pretty rugged trail for running.  We built the trail for horseback riding, but we've had interest from runners that want to do more of an extreme run, so that's what it's designed after."

He adds that there is also a dinner and a dance following the ride, and anyone is welcome to come out to that.

It's 25 dollars for the dinner and dance if you're not registered in the ride.

Everything gets underway around 8:30 that morning with registration.
