County residents are reminded that July 3rd is the deadline to pay your property taxes.
County CAO Bill Rogan says tax dollars collected play a large role in the County being able to offer the services that they do.
"They are the bulk of our revenue. Of course we are fortunate enough to get grants and other things, but taxation does make up the bluk of the revenue for the County."
Rogan says they collect around 65 million dollars in property taxes on an annual basis, with approximateky 97 percent of County residents settling their bill before the deadline.
Failing to pay your bill before the 3rd will result in a three percent penalty being added.
