You can now get your Masters in Social Work at Grande Prairie Regional College.
The agreement with the University of Calgary was signed this morning.
Dr. Ralph Bodor will be the Program Coordinator.
He looks at this opportunity as a gift.
"For me this is an incredible opportunity to have 30 to 35 graduate level social workers graduated in northern social work."
The first program information sessions started up at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Another will run at 7 PM (Thursday) in room C224 at the college.
The application deadline is January 31st with classes starting up in the fall.
