It was more of a "snow-turning" than sod-turning, but the excitement was palpable at this afternoon's ceremony at the site of the city's third firehall.

Construction on the 20-thousand square foot building begins right away, with a completion date set for June of 2012.
Clark Builders had the sucessful bid on the job at just over 6.3-million dollars.
When it's complete, there will be three drive through bays and quarters for eight fire-fighters at the new hall.
