Grande Prairies Kaldon Construction will take on the duties of Project Manager for the county's 26-million dollar Sportsplex.
The company will be paid a 350-thousand dollar fee for that job.
Planning Director for the County John Simpson says the recreation facility is a huge undertaking and it's extremely important
Kaldon's submission was one of seven received by the county.
Simpson says the Sportsplex Committee felt most comfortable with the company based on their past record and local knowledge.
Up next -- architectural drawings could be completed by late February or March, with construction tenders going out by April.
