The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon goes today: The event put on by the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau.
Part of today's festivities will be the recognition of young people in the region as "Leaders of Tomorrow" for their spirit of volunteerism.
Sixteen area teens in two age groups EACH will be given plaques as well as $100 cash awards AND $100 to charities they choose.
The sold out event is at the Grande Prairie Inn with over 550 attendees.
