The Alberta Electoral Boundaries Commission stops in Grande Prairie today for some more consultation: These sessions cover the commission's  interim report regarding the propsed redrawing of boundaries here that would change representation significantly. 

The plan would create one wholly urban riding while the remaining area of the two current ridings -- GP Wapiti and GP Smoky, would be combined and include a northern section of the city of Grande Prairie and encompass an area from the BC border to north of Fox Creek.

Today's public hearings begin at 10 and run to noon at the Best Western; A second session goes from 1:30 to 4:30; the evening session goes from 6 until 9;
