NewsGP Catholic School Division Expecting Jump In Enrollment
Grande Prairie Catholic School Division is forecasting an enrollment increase of around 75 students for this fall. Superintendent Karl Germann expects the jump to be focused mainly in two areas. "We're seeing a lot of kids move into kindergarden and we're also seeing them move into St. Joe's right now for the coming school year so both of them are good. The biggest challenge is going to be for facilities over a period of time and our work actually needs to start for the following year right away, because of that large kindergarden enrollment coming in."
Germann says at Mother Teresa school alone, there are almost 100 kindergarten students registered for this fall. Most Viewed Stories
