Some college students are getting the chance to work with the Pipestone Creek Dinosaur Initiative this summer.

Maddy Einarson and Megan Baile will be giving tours at the bone bed in Pipestone Creek.

The job requires the girls to do a lot of training - they've spent most of their time on the job so far watching videos and learning about geology and the history of the Peace Region.

Einarson says she's learned a lot about the area in just two weeks.

"I've learned a lot about the area.  I just moved here from Dawson Creek last year, so I had no idea there was dinosaurs all over the area and bone beds - I used to go camping at Pipestone Creek when I was a little kid, and i had no idea there was a bone bed right around the corner.  So, it's really fun to learn about all the fun stuff in the area."

The pair give their first tour of the bone bed for 66 elementary school kids this Friday.
