A new, more durable track surface is going into Legion Field, and there will be contruction crews there for the next five or six weeks.
In an effort to keep people safe, officials with the City are asking people to steer clear of the field while the crews work.
Tomorrow's Drillers home game is the only time over the next few weeks that the field will be open to the public.
The new track is not only expected to last a decent amount of time, but it will also be much easier to repair than the one that's there now.
