The tiny community of Wanham will swell in size this weekend as it welcomes visitors for their annual plowing match.

Besides the horse and tractor plowing competitions over all three days of the event, there are also activities for all members of the family.

They include a children's tent, household exhibits, a trade show, and horse shoe compeitions.

Event chairperson Allan Connell says another one of the highlights is the Oldtime Parade, set for Sunday morning.

"There will be lots of horses, kids on bikes, old antiques gong through, some horse drawn wagons, and the such."

Tonight and tomorrow night will both wrap up with PBR bull riding competitions, followed by a dance.
