A resident of the Wedgewood subdivision has asked the County to consider introducing curbside recycling into their neighbourhood.

Reeve Leanne Beaupre thinks it would be a good fit for that area, but adds some questions have to be answered first by their administration.

"This is just an investigation of price, cost, and who the contractor will be, as well as a consensus from rate payers that they want the aservice, because there will be an additional cost for the service on a person's water bill."

Beaupre adds they are also still looking for a location to set up a south County recycling depot.

Proposals to place it near the Dunes fire hall or at Evergreen Park were both shot down yesterday due to heavy traffic volume concerns.
