Alberta's jobless rate stayed at 4.6-percent for July, the same rate as June. Alberta labour statistics show employment increased by 58-hundred last month with the construction sector showing the most growth.
The jobless rate in the Grande Prairie region dropped 4-tenths of a point to 4.1-percent -- that's down a whopping 1.8-percent from July of last year.
